Best of Dance 2006
Here's my pick of the top tunes of 2006. It was a year dominated by electro. I can't say that electro is really my bag so this chart is somewhat out of step with what was big in 2006. If you think I have criminally overlooked anything or if you want to let me know what you think then let me know.
One track that I would have liked to have made (possible even topped) the list was Empty Streets by Late Night Alumni, featured on Tiesto's "In Search of Sunrise 5". Unfortuantely, it would seem that this was released in 2005 and was criminally missed in 2005's chart. Click here to hear it on YouTube.
Not much great music around in 2007 yet but I'm hoping that Faithless release "Music Matters" off their "To All New Arrivals" album. It features vocals by Cass Fox who features in two of the tracks that have made this year's chart.
